It is commonly combined with other techniques, and it may be used for either cosmetic purposes or reconstructive purposes. A special technique for removing fat that is different from liposuction is used for fat that is going to be used in fat grafting or fat transfer. Fat that is grafted or transferred also is at a different layer than fat removed during liposuction. Fat transfer can be used as an injectable filler for aesthetic facial concerns, such as lip enhancement, or for breast augmentation. Sometimes, a piece of fat is removed and sutured in place; this is called free fat grafting.

Vein Treatment

Many people experience varicose veins, visible as red or purple twisting veins typically found in the legs. They can be unsightly and tend to develop or worsen with age. People who stand long hours or are overweight are most at risk of developing them. Varicose veins can become painful and put the patient at higher bleeding risk, as blood is pooled in these superficial veins. Having varicose veins is also linked to an increased risk for developing blood clots. Treating varicose veins, however, is typically considered a cosmetic procedure.

In both women and men, breast shape and size contribute greatly to self-esteem. Breasts are important to  overall body symmetry and proportion.
